Data, maps and decisions

I’m Eriola, a Government Operational Researcher and geospatial analyst. For more than 15 years I’ve applied quantitative, geospatial and statistical methods to complex problems across government, academia and the private sector. Here I write about turning messy data into clear, reproducible analysis, communicating uncertainty honestly, and how AI is changing the way we work with spatial data.
